Cows In The Pasture Pastoral Landscape Painting

"Cows in the Pasture"
8 x 10
Acrylic on canvas.

This pastoral landscape painting is of cows grazing in a lush green pasture, with tree-covered hills in the background. In the foreground are a weathered wooden gate, an old stone wall, and wildflowers. My inspiration for this painting is a beautiful pasture along a scenic country road in Chichester, New Hampshire where Holsteins are grazing in the spring, summer and fall.

I now have prints, framed prints, canvas prints, and greeting cards available of this painting, on my new website: Sandra Estes Fine Art .

New Original Painting New Hampshire White Mountains Swift River

"Swift River"
8" x 8" Acrylic on canvas.
Commission.

This original acrylic painting is the Swift River which runs along the Kancamagus Scenic Highway, located in the White Mountain National Forest of New Hampshire.

About The Swift River:
There are beautiful, scenic whitewater cascades and waterfalls as the Swift River runs through the towns of Livermore, Waterville Valley, and Albany. The Swift River drops more than 2,400 feet in elevation along it's 26 mile journey from Livermore, through Waterville Valley, and Albany, New Hampshire. It joins the Saco River in Conway, which runs into the Atlantic Ocean in Maine. There are two covered bridges along the Swift River, the Swift River Bridge in Conway and the Albany Covered Bridge in the town of Albany.

"Moon Dragonfly" Tranquil Pond Waterlilies Original Painting

"Moon Dragonfly"
Acrylics 9 x 12 canvas
Commission
Sold.

This was a commissioned painting done last year, of a similar ACEO that I painted. A tranquil evening water scene with a dragonfly hovering between the moon and the reflection of the full moon over the peaceful water of the pond. The light of the moon catches and highlights the translucent, iridescent wings of the dragonfly, as well as the tall grasses and waterlilies.

I decided to post this even though it isn't a new painting, due to the recent interest and comments on this painting on Facebook.
