Work in Progress Foggy Harbor Fisherman Original Painting by Sandra Estes
Today's Work In Progress
Heavy morning fog loomed over Bar Harbor, Maine. I saw a lone fisherman sitting on the dock, and immediately thought the scene would make a great painting. The fisherman kindly agreed to let me photograph him.

Lobster Boat, Lobstermen, Maine, Harbor, Impressionism, Seascape, Original Painting
THE LOBSTER BOAT
Acrylic
6 x 6 x 1 1/2"
© 2012 Sandra Estes
I love going up the coast of Maine. I did this painting using some photos I took while visiting Bar Harbor Maine for reference. On Mount Desert Island, I watched and took photos as a couple of lobstermen in Northeast Harbor, loaded lobster traps onto their boat and headed out of the Harbor.
This painting is sold to a collector in Maine.
